Blackberry plants

The consumption of blackberries is also in increasing demand. Blackberries are particularly tasty and healthy. At GensonQuality Plants we grow long canes in pots, available in the varieties Loch Ness and Loch Tay. We also supply plug plants of the varieties Loch Ness, Loch Tay and Karaka Black. We are happy to advise you about our varieties and plant types!

PLANT TYPES

Long canes

We supply long canes in several varieties with and without license. The long canes produce fruit from buds of side branches of a second-year stem, about 16-18 weeks after planting. Long canes are grown in one year from a plug plant. Propagation takes place in aphid-free greenhouses after which they are planted in our special blackberry fields. The long canes are packed at the end of the year and stored in our own modern freezing rooms.

Plug plants

We grow cuttings in trays into plug plants. These plug plants are available in various varieties, with and without license. We deliver the plug plants from week 18 to week 24. Our plants are grown with the best care so that we can provide you with healthy and vigorous plants.
